Global Exotic Hardwoods Ltd offers a wide variety of marine timbers for the Ports and Harbours Industry around the US and overseas. 

Due to its natural long lengths up to 20 mts and D70 and Class 1 Durability, Greenheart timber is the US’s typical hardwood fender and is found around most harbours in the US.

From Piers, Coping, Fenders and ladders, wave screens, dock blocks and much more.

Timbers supplied for marine tend to be D50-D70, Class 1 timbers, but at times Douglas Fir can be supplied if requested by the customer.

Greenheart, Ekki, Opepe are the common timbers specified in marine to meet D50.

These timbers are FSC® or PEFC® certified, all sourced from sustainable forests and support trade in developing countries, supporting the UN goals.

Value Add Services are available at our yard of Drilling, Chamfering, Bolts, Ring and Shoeing, cut to drawings and planing if required.   Our specialist team can work to technical drawings and plane to +1/-2 tolerances if required.  

We also have specialist contacts who can help shape on site when fine tuning is required.

We can offer advice at design stage to timber designs.
